The influencers linked up with Discovery to unveil their movement, titled #TeamTrees.

In order to combat the climate crisis, Rober and Donaldson wanted to get people involved with planting trees and went live with a donation page to allow others to get involved.

After going live for only 48 hours, the two had raised enough money to plant over 4 million trees.

By Monday afternoon, there had been enough money raised to plant over 5.7 million trees.

Rober, a former NASA engineer, filmed a YouTube video of the group's efforts and even showcased how they may use drones for mass planting of trees from the sky.

More behind-the-scenes footage is available on DiscoveryGO.

Donations can be made to #TeamTrees, where $1 = 1 tree planted.
