YouTube, Apple and SoundCloud users: Here's how to find your version of Spotify's Wrapped

Every holiday season since 2015, people who stream their music and podcasts with Spotify patiently wait for their Spotify Wrapped to pop up on their homepage.

If you don’t know, Spotify Wrapped is an end-of-year recap that shows each listener a snapshot of how many minutes or days they spent listening to music that year.

The recap breaks each listener’s statistics down to their most-listened-to artists, albums, genres of music and podcasts, complete with fun graphics and excerpts from their favorite songs.

For years, Apple Music users looked on in jealousy, until the platform came out with its own version last year.

Here’s a quick list of which music streaming services have something similar to Spotify Wrapped.

Does Apple Music have a version of Spotify Wrapped?

Apple Music listeners: Don’t feel left out this year. You actually have your own end-of-the-year present to open now!

Apple Music Replay released on Nov. 28, compiling Apple Music users' listening data for the year, including top songs, artists, albums and total minutes listened to.

Apple Music Replay's new Highlights feature can be accessed by going to the Apple Music Replay website on your device: replay.music.apple.com.

Once you open this page, you’ll find a Highlight Reel that presents the year-in-review for a user's 2023 Apple Music listening history. Just like Spotify Wrapped, this summary includes the total amount of time you spent listening to music, your top genre, top artist, top album and top song.

Does YouTube Music have something like Spotify Wrapped?

Last year, YouTube Music listeners also got their first taste of an end-of-year music recap.

If you use YouTube for music, your 2023 YouTube Music Recap is now available to click through.

Mimicking Spotify’s approach, YouTube Music listeners get to see their most-listened-to songs, artists and albums and the platform matches them to moods and themes.

To access your YouTube Music Recap, just log into your account on the app or in a browser. You can also access your recap from the regular YouTube app.

Is there a SoundCloud version of Spotify wrapped?

SoundCloud has a version of Spotify Wrapped called SoundCloud Playback. It isn’t as social media-friendly as the other streaming platform recaps, but it does sum up each user’s listening habits on a year-by-year basis.

Playback is just a playlist of your most-listened-to songs from the last year.

SoundCloud users don’t have access to their Playback playlists for 2023 yet, but should receive an email when it is ready for them to listen to. SoundCloud’s Playback playlists are anticipated to drop soon, though, since they are based on music each listener has played between January 1 and November 30 of each year.

Does Amazon Music have an end-of-year recap?

No, Amazon Music does not have an end-of-year review for its listeners.
