Your TV To-Do List: 'Supergirl' Picks a New Lane

With so much to watch on TV, it can be difficult to plan ahead. But we’re here to help! Here are the five shows you won’t want to miss this week.

Supergirl: Monday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. on CBS
Supergirl’s connections to the larger DC Universe continue to expand outward as Peter Facinelli reprises his recurring role as wealthy tech magnate Maxwell Lord (who, in the comics, helped found a branch of the Justice League). Meanwhile, Jenna Dewan-Tatum makes her first appearance as Lucy Lane, sister of intrepid Daily Planet reporter Lois, and — for a brief run of issues — a Superwoman in her own right.

Women of Honor: Monday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. on Lifetime
First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden give a hearty Veteran’s Day salute to some of the female soldiers who served with honor in America’s armed forces.

Project Runway Junior: Thursday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime
Taking a cue from MasterChef Junior, the long-running fashion forward reality series launches an all-teen edition hosted by Hannah Davis and mentored, as always, by Tim Gunn. At this rate, look for ABC to launch The Bachelor: High School next summer.

W/ Bob & David: Friday, Nov. 13 on Netflix
It may not be Mr. Show… actually, never mind, it pretty much is. Bob Odenkirk and David Cross revive everything about their mid-‘90s cult comedy favorite, except for the name and the network, with Netflix stepping in for HBO.

Into the Badlands: Sunday, Nov. 15 on AMC
It’s an East-meets-West mash-up of epic proportions as AMC’s newest original series plunges viewers into a post-apocalyptic America populated by sword-wielding martial artists rather than brain-hungry zombies.
