Liza's journey has almost reached its end. Younger season seven is coming.

If you don't know, the underrated TV Land comedy centers on Liza Miller (Sutton Foster), a 40-year-old divorced mom who lies about her age to get ahead in the millennial-heavy book-publishing industry. Soon she finds herself caught in a web of deceit, love triangles, and all kinds of situations. Hilary Duff plays Kelsey, her coworker.

But will these women get their happily-ever-afters? Who will Liza pick: sweet boy tattoo artist Josh or buttoned-up executive Charles? We can't say, but we have picked up a few key details, including an exclusive first look at the show's final-season table read! Watch below:

Here's everything else we know about Younger’s final season:

Where will it air?

Paramount Plus, exclusively. Whether you've been binge-watching on Hulu or watching live on TV Land, you'll have to get a log-in to the new streaming service to finish the series. Very clever, Paramount Plus.

When will it premiere, and how many episodes will there be?

The seventh season will start streaming on April 15; it's the perfect reward for finishing your taxes. The sixth-season finale aired in 2019, and the show had to delay its final season because of the pandemic—especially since Younger is set and filmed in New York City.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, there will be 12 episodes; the first four will be available on the 15th, and the others will drop each Thursday after that. An official trailer dropped March 30:

What’s going to happen to the main characters?

Per an official synopsis, “Liza’s personal life is on shaky ground as she tries to stay true to herself. After a setback at work, Kelsey doubts her career decisions and discovers a new creative outlet. Maggie (Debi Mazar) gets canceled.”

Series creator Darren Star told Us in April that "I don’t think you can assume anything with Younger, but I think you can assume that I really think all the characters of the show do get their happy ending. I really do…I think they get the ending that they deserve.” Vague but promising?

“There’s sort of, like, twists and turns in the final episode, which is an hour-long episode, until the very last moment,” he teased. “The show doesn’t really, let’s say, stick the landing until that very last scene. It’s a fun season, and I hope it’s going to leave the audience happy and satisfied at the end…I think in the end, I think we found the way that felt right. It feels right.”

We will update this post as more information is revealed.
