So special, Mindy Kaling recently called it her dream retirement, picturing "retiring to a tasteful mega-compound on Martha’s Vineyard, where I would write plays and drink wine with Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen at least several times a week.”

But she's not the only celebrity endorsement. Nor are Danson and Steenburgen.

A number of world class celebrities live here at least part of the time. A perk of being rich and famous is owning multiple homes, but the fact that that these household names chose to have one on the Cape has to say something good for the Bay State right?
