Vegas Gems examined data from Google Keyword Planner to create a ranking of states that are most obsessed with music festivals based on search terms. The number of searches was compared against the population to determine who was most festival-obsessed.

What place does New York rank for music festivals?

Falling right behind Colorado, New York ranked seventh place among the top states for most obsessed with music festivals. There were an average of 1,165 Google searches for festivals per 100,000 people.

What is New Yorkers' favorite music festival?

Regardless of having to travel across the country, New Yorkers love Coachella. There was an average of 50,220 monthly searches by New Yorkers for the California music festival.
