Yo La Tengo to Play Socially-Distanced Concerts at MASS MoCA

Yo La Tengo will play two socially-distanced concerts at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA). The performances will take place on August 7 and 8 in front of a live audience at the museum’s concert venue Courtyard D. The band will set up nearly two stories high in an elevated gallery, and perform through an industrial-style roll-top door that is typically used for lifting large pieces of art into the museum. Below, find a photo of the space (courtesy of MASS MoCA).

The event will host 100 audience members, who will be spaced out at a distance of at least six feet. The concert will also feature contactless ticketing, new exits, take-out restaurant procedures, and more.

Yo La Tengo just released a new project titled We Have Amnesia Sometimes, which compiles the recent singles they shared on Bandcamp.
