Yo Gotti is showing that you should never stop learning in life, even if you are a CEO, multi-Platinum musician, and more. The CMG boss is furthering his education as a newly enrolled business student in UCLA’s weekly Corporate Valuation course at the Anderson School of Management.

The class, taught by Professor Lori Santikian, “delves into analytical tools relevant for valuing projects, corporations, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, private firms, and debt,” according to a press release. The course has been “designed to help students use methodological tools to explore how real options affect investment decisions and how they can be identified and valued.”

Upon completion of the class, Gotti, along with his fellow classmates, will have the necessary tools and resources to “produce a comprehensive equity valuation of a company based on qualitative strategic analysis and quantitative financial analysis.”

The 42-year-old has already built a successful music label, where he’s signed top acts, GloRilla, MoneyBagg Yo, EST Gee, Blac Youngsta, and more. CMG has turned into a powerhouse of a record label, offering artist management, distribution, strategic brand development, and more.

Aside from music, Gotti’s entrepreneurial spirit also shines bright.

He is currently the co-owner of D.C. United, a Major League Soccer team, along with Jason Levien, Steve Kaplan, and more. Additionally, he also owns a fine-dining restaurant, Prive, in his Memphis hometown, amongst an array of other investments like real estate, esports, and more.

Yo Gotti won’t be the only rapper taking advantage of higher-education in 2024. Quavo also exclusively revealed to VIBE that next year he’d be an official UGA Bulldog. The 32-year-old shared the news in August while speaking about his partnership with Lids, although, he didn’t disclose what he will study.

“Next year, I’m going to enroll myself into University of Georgia. I’m going to be a student on campus,” he excitedly spilled. Speaking to raising the morale on campus, he also suggested the Bulldogs turn up to his album single, “Who Wit Me,” before games.

“I’m from Athens, you know what I’m saying? I love UGA to the fullest,” he added. “I just want everybody to rep this hat and put it on their head, because we ain’t capping about our rap. We coming hard this year and we going three-peat.”
