Update on Yin Anan and War Wanarat’s New Thai BL Jack and Joker
Thai actors Yin Anan Wong and War Wanarat Ratsameerat are all set to return to the screens with the new Thai drama Jack and Joker. The popular on-screen pair previously won over fans in the 2022 BL series Love Mechanics. After a two-year break, Yin and War are gearing up to return to the acting world.
Last year, the new project, Jack and Joker: U Steal My Heart, was unveiled with an official pilot. The storyline revolves around a heist operation led by Joker (War). The character is defined as the “master of deception with divine pranks, tricking both enemies and friends alike.” Meanwhile, Jack (Yin) is a debt collector “with a tough exterior but a kind heart, whose debtors often fall in love with him.”
The pilot begins with Joker’s team taking over a casino. After an elite Aran’s necklace gets stolen, Jack’s team is sent in to investigate. However, when Joker almost gets caught, Jack ends up saving him. It is further revealed that Joker had approved Jack’s loan while running a heist in the past. Given their history, the pair helps each other escape the casino. However, Aran plays the ultimate card when he catches Jack and Joker.
Upcoming Thai BL series Jack and Joker begins filming
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, it was revealed that Jack and Joker had finally begun filming. The Thai BL drama’s official Instagram page posted a photo of Yin and War as they entered the first quarter of filming. The page also shared photos of the rest of the cast of crew commencing the new project.
