Things are getting messy in Kanye West’s camp, par for the course after a major music moment for the controversial artist. After his record “Carnival” went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, he chose to fire YesJulz for violating an NDA, and she retaliated via social media.

The entrepreneur leaked messages between herself and Yeezy chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos, where he called Ye’s fanbase “Down Syndrome megafans” with “developmental disorders” on Wednesday (March 13). He also addressed a negative response from the Chicago producer’s team regarding the Twitter Spaces she held with West’s fan accounts, but claimed he wasn’t exactly sure what it was about and told her to let him know if she needs anything.

The social media personality captioned this post “Heres what Milo, the Chief of Staff who controls who gets hired + fired & when they get paid, thinks about the very fan base that fought so hard to get Ye his first #1 in over a decade.”

YesJulz addressed the Spaces she held in another tweet. “Ye is up against the system,” she wrote. “Having the discussion with fans in an open forum setting was unconventional, but it allowed for inclusivity & open visibility for an entire fan base to opt in, give feedback, be heard, connect with one another to combine efforts.”

Despite airing her grievances with his team, she continually reasserted that she supports him and wants him to be successful.

“We have an opportunity to help one of the most iconic artists of our time fight for the equity that creatives should have always had in their art,” she wrote in another tweet. “An opportunity to finally dismantle the label system. & build a new one where fans & artists are in the drivers seat, reaping the benefits and profits, as they should be Thats what Ye being #1 this time around means. That’s why rallying the fans is so important.”

YesJulz closed off her self-defense in an emphatic way, writing, “F**k an NDA. Sue me.” She shared several other screenshots from a group chat titled “YEWSFEED” where she made several suggestions about marketing, promotion, and performing for fans in Argentina. She also shared a conversation with Milo Yiannopoulos where they discussed fan account Kanyesposts who they suggested may have mental issues and was tapped to work with Kanye West before he eventually chose otherwise.

This chaos began on Tuesday (March 12) when Ye revealed that he had fired Julz from his team. “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the roll out of Vultures. All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized,” he shared via Instagram stories.

She was formally let go by Milo Yiannopoulous, who wrote, “Dear Ms. Goddard, enclosed please find a letter and statement of account from your time with Yeezy. Fines incurred to date as a result of your NDA violations come to $7.7m.” He claimed that her debts were forgiven while she was a contractor, but now that she was no longer employed with Yeezy, she was responsible for covering the $7.7 million. As if that wasn’t clear enough, he wrote to her “Obviously, you are fired” in a follow-up email.
