“We are thrilled to bring Ludacris to the Monroe County Fair,” Diamond said. “It is not every day that we have the opportunity to bring an artist that is not only known for his music, but for his acting career as well. He has fans from different avenues, which makes this a great artist to bring in.”

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. April 1. They can be purchased from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the fair office, 3775 S. Custer Road, or at monroecountyfair.com.

The headliner for the 2023 fair concert was Yung Gravy with guest bbno$. That concert drew about 3,700, the fair said last summer.

His first appearance was in the 2003 “Fast 2 Furious.” He’s also been in Garry Marshall’s ensemble comedy “New Year’s Eve”; Ivan Reitman’s romantic comedy “No Strings Attached”; and Paul Higgin’s Academy Award-winning film “Crash.”

It was originally inspired by Chris’ oldest daughter, Karma, and based on the interactive educational website of the same name created by Karma’s World Entertainment in 2009,” the fair said.
