Here's where to watch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest and other TV specials to ring in 2024

So you don't drop the ball on New Year's Eve, we've got your plans covered!

The countdown to 2024 has begun and luckily, there are various New Year's Eve television specials scheduled for the anticipated "three, two, one!"

ABC and CNN are among the networks slated to broadcast the Times Square festivities with their respective programs, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and New Year's Eve Live. Each special will feature star-studded performances and celebrity appearances throughout the evening.

In addition to the aforementioned long-time broadcasts, CBS returns with its New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. The special, featuring the famed music note drop, first aired on the network in December 2021.

Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party will not be returning to NBC this year. The network will air Sunday Night Football instead.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest, who will be emceeing the special filled with more than 5 1⁄2 hours of music performances, guests and a glimpse at New Year's Eve celebrations around the globe.

This year, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve annual special returns for its 52nd year and marks Seacrest’s 19th year as the host. He will be ushering in 2024 from Times Square in New York City along with pop star Rita Ora, while the TV personality Jeannie Mai will lead the Hollywood coverage on the West Coast.

They'll be joined by various chart-topping performers throughout the evening, including pop stars and rock bands set to play their latest hits. Plus, several acts will also provide some lovable nostalgia with a myriad of timeless favorites.

Who's performing on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve?

Ryan Seacrest will be joined by a lengthy list of stars for a music-filled night. Among them include AquaDoechiiEllie GouldingGreen DayJanelle Monáe, Loud Luxury x Two Friends with Bebe RexhaLudacrisNile Rodgers & CHIC, Paul Russell, Reneé Rapp with Coco Jones, LL Cool J and Thirty Seconds to Mars.

As cameras roll in Times Square leading up to the big count down to midnight, Post Malone will perform his hit “Chemical” off this year’s Austin from the brand new luxury casino and hotel Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Cardi B will also takeover the Fontainebleau, but in Miami Beach.

K-pop stars NewJeans, meanwhile, will perform two fan favorites off their latest album Get Up: “ETA” and “Super Shy.” The five-piece group’s appearance marks the first-ever performance from South Korea on the long-running New Year’s Eve special.

In Puerto Rico, reggaeton superstar Ivy Queen will perform a set from the Puerto Rico Convention Center and DISTRITO T-Mobile, where the evening will be hosted by Dayanara Torres.

Music aside, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will also feature a slew of comedic shows with Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Matt Friend, Ms. Pat and Sebastian Maniscalco joining in for hilarious commentary on the past year.

New Year's Eve Live will be co-hosted by Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. They will welcome in the new year from New York City’s Times Square ahead of the ball drop at midnight.

Cooper and Cohen both shared statements in a press release about teaming up again to kick off 2024. The CNN broadcast journalist said, “There’s no one I’d rather spend New Year’s Eve with and nowhere I’d rather be at midnight than New York’s Times Square!”

“Spending new years with my dear friend Anderson is my idea of a great time, and a happy tradition that I look forward to all year long,” added the Watch What Happens Live host.

Throughout the broadcast, several other CNN correspondents will be reporting from celebrations across North America, while Richard Quest will report from the crowds in NYC. The network's Central Time Zone countdown will be hosted by Sara Sidner and Cari Champion from their celebration in Austin, Texas.

Co-hosts Cooper and Cohen will be joined by a slew of star-studded performers who will take the stage on New Year's Eve night. Among them include Darius Rucker, Enrique IglesiasFlo RidaJonas BrothersMaroon 5Miranda Lambert and Rod Stewart.

In addition to the hitmakers, a handful of stars will make interview appearances with Cooper and Cohen throughout the evening. Actors Jeremy RennerNeil Patrick Harris and Patti LaBelle are scheduled to attend, in addition to Las Culturistas podcast hosts and comedians Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers. Magician David Blaine will also make a special appearance.

New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash is returning for its third consecutive year since it first aired on CBS in December 2021. The country music bonanza will air for five hours, featuring a stacked list of singing stars.

The special will be hosted by musician Elle King and Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith. Joining them are Cody Alan and CBS anchor Lonnie Quinn corresponding from New York City’s Times Square, along with Dustin Lynch, who will also be performing live.

Nashville's Big Bash features nearly 50 performances from locations across Nashville, including the mainstage in the city's Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. The broadcast will cross multiple time zones, with the traditional countdown at midnight ET and wrapping with the famed Nashville music note drop and fireworks at midnight CT.

Artists taking to the stage to perform include Old Dominion, Elle King, Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Lainey Wilson. Who Can Forget 2023 / A New Year with Tyrus

FOX News Channel will ring in 2024 with two one-hour New Year's Eve specials beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET. First, the network will air Who Can Forget 2023, followed by A New Year with Tyrus.

Unlike the aforementioned programs, both FOX specials will feature a look-back at the year's most memorable moments and viral trends instead of musical performances. The shows will include appearances by the network's most notable names.

Who Can Forget 2023 airs on FOX from 10:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 31, followed by A New Year with Tyrus from 11:00p.m. to midnight.

What to expect from Who Can Forget 2023?

Who Can Forget 2023 will be led by America’s Newsroom’s Bill Hemmer, FOX & Friends Weekend’s Pete Hegseth, FOX Across America’s Jimmy Failla, Kennedy Saves the World’s Kennedy, FOX & Friends First’s Todd Piro, among others. They will look back at 2023’s most memorable moments, like the Barbenheimer phenomenon that rocked cinemas upon each film's release.

A New Year with Tyrus will be headlined by the FOX News contributor, professional wrestler and New York Times bestselling author. Hosting his first-ever New Year's Eve special, Tyrus will be joined by Michelle Tafoya, Sean Duffy (co-host of FOX Business Network’s The Bottom Line) and comedian Tyler Fischer.

They will take viewers through the year's most viral trends, most downloaded songs and other major moments from 2023. Wrestler Ric Flair will also make an appearance, in addition to a unique segment on ringing in the new year from Antarctica.
