Yara Shahidi Helped Her Brother Sayeed Give Storm Reid the Best Promposal Ever

Yara Shahidi is a beauty ambassador, a fashion icon, and a fierce political voice — and she might just have to add “Big Sister of the Year” to her milestone list after helping her brother, Sayeed Shahidi, plan out the sweetest promposal for actor Storm Reid.

“After big sister FaceTime consultations, conversations with his homies and knowing what would make her smile, Sayeed SURPRISED Storm with the CUTEST promposal, “ the Grown-ish star posted on Instagram alongside a candid photo of how it all went down (roller set included).

In the pic, we see Sayeed and Storm with a DIY promposal banner that reads “Storms are rare in LA. I’m lucky I found one. Prom?” I mean, if that’s not adorable, I don’t know what is.

As is only fitting, Sayeed and Storm also shared the same pic on their accounts ahead of the memorable occasion. “He's just the absolute sweetest. Saturday can't come fast enough,” Storm captioned her post; Sayeed added, “So Lucky I get to go to my first prom with her ‼” on his, with a #picscomingsoon hashtag.

We’ll have to wait a couple of days until the dance actually happens, but we’ll sure be on the lookout for those pics. And, if they are anything like 2018’s homecoming or 2017's, which Storm and Sayeed also attended together and documented — be prepared to swoon. A lot.
