Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis Makes Daniel’s Life Harder
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 16 find Phyllis stunned when Daniel suggests all the help she’d been giving him lately may have been…less than helpful.
Oh, Mother
From the moment Lily (Christel Khalil, who teased this about Lily) fired Daniel and Heather (Vail Bloom), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has been solidly in her baby boy’s corner. She told him to fight back, she told him to demand what was his, and she told him not to step down. None of that has really worked out for him.
So Phyllis figured it was because Daniel was doing it wrong. Phyllis will step in and fix matters for him! After all, she’s a great negotiator, has an amazing business mind, and people love her! Especially now that Billy (Jason Thompson) is in charge at Chancellor-Winters. Surely, not Daniel will be in the prime negotiating seat. Especially with Phyllis to offer him helpful tips.
Side by Side by Chancellor
Abby (Melissa Ordway) has been pretty lucky for most of her life. As a rule, the Newmans forget she exists, so she’s rarely had to make important decisions pitting her father’s family against her mother’s. But now that she and Devon (Bryton James) are a couple, things aren’t as simple. Whose side is she on at Chancellor-Winters?
There’s Devon, sure. He’s her baby daddy. Well, one of them. But there’s also Billy. He’s her uncle. And, to be fair, as an Abbott, he always treats Abby like a family member. And then there’s Mamie (Veronica Redd). She means a lot to the Abbotts, and she hates Jill (Jess Walton). Jill is the grandmother of Abby’s ex-husband, Chance (Conner Floyd), who is Dominic’s other dad. So when it comes to picking a side, what’s Abby to do? Thinking for herself is obviously off the table.
My Way
Not a Newman, not an Abbott, not a Chancellor, not a Winters. And yet Audra (Zuleyka Silver — she recently got engaged) is making her presence felt in Genoa City in a way none of the so-called power brokers saw coming.
