The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, April 5 find Lily and Nick in each other’s orbits. And we know what that means on daytime.

New Here

Lily (Christel Khalil, who named her baby this) returned from visiting her daughter to find Daniel having breakfast with his daughter…and her mother. She quickly figured out what was going on and, when Daniel (Michael Graziadei) admitted he’d cheated on Lily with Heather (Vail Bloom), Lily fired them both, which they took personally.

Now, Daniel and Heather are looking to sue. Luckily, Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) father had a long and storied history of firing people just because he felt like it. Maybe Lily will turn to Nick for help with her Human Resources problem, which will turn into something else. After all, Nick just got out of a toxic relationship himself — dating a woman who was pregnant with his brother’s baby. They might commiserate, which will turn into something else.

Help, I Need Somebody

And speaking of that girlfriend who was pregnant with Nick’s brother’s baby, Sally (Courtney Hope) and Adam (Mark Grossman) are back together. We think. It’s unclear since the bulk of the time they spend together is spent talking about Adam’s son, Connor (Judah Mackey, who recently shared a BTS), which is understandable.

And Connor’s mother, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), which is a little less so. And Connor’s mother’s boyfriend, Billy (Jason Thompson), which makes no sense at all. Sally has been totes supportive of Adam up to this point. But now, she actually has a piece of advice that he’d be well served to take.

The Other Side of the Coin

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Billy spend their time talking about Connor. Still understandable. And also about Adam. Which makes no sense at all. Billy has decided he needs to protect Chelsea from big, bad Adam, and he promises her he will continue to do so. After all, Chelsea is the most amazing person who has ever lived, and anyone who disagrees with her is clearly out of his mind and likely evil. Not to worry — it’s Billy to the rescue!
