Y&R Spoilers: Kyle Defends Claire To Summer

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, May 17, remind Summer that she, technically, has no legal standing with Harrison when Kyle makes it clear her input won’t be necessary.

The Baby-Sitters Club

Kyle (Michael Mealor) thinks Claire (Hayley Erin) being Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) nanny is a keen idea. Summer (Allison Lanier) does not. Kyle doesn’t care. Harrison is his son, he gets to make all the decisions.

Summer’s job is just to be there whenever Kyle has something better to do. She’s not Harrison’s mother. She never adopted him. And she’s not his stepmother. Kyle and Summer are dunzo. So be quiet and let Kyle make all the parenting decisions. If he wants a woman freshly out of the mental hospital to hang out with Harrison, then, obviously, he’s in the right.

The Aunts Go Marching One by One

Claire didn’t just flip out on her own. She had a lifetime of Jordan (Colleen Zenk) messing with her mind. Well, that won’t be happening anymore! Victor (Eric Braeden) has Jordan locked up. She’ll never hurt anyone again.

Unless, that is, Jordan offers to hurt someone Victor wants hurt. In that case, go crazy. Pun intended. Victor and Jordan strike a deal. Which quickly takes a very dangerous turn.

Last Resort

Nick (Joshua Morrow) has plenty of exes in town. There is, of course, Sharon (Sharon Case — what happened to her). The love of his life, the mother of two of his children, a certified therapist who is always willing to listen to Nick’s troubles.

There’s also Sally (Courtney Hope), the relationship that never made much sense but one that ended harmlessly enough. But, in spite of all that, Nick turns to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). The complete lunatic. The one who never found a situation she couldn’t make about herself. The perennial victim even as she’s the villain. That’s who Nick turns to for advice. Nick deserves whatever happens next.
