Xzibit Launches Weekly Cannabis Podcast ‘Lasagna Ganja’

EXCLUSIVE: Xzibit is rolling into the podcast world.

The rapper and actor is launching Lasagna Ganja, a weekly podcast about the world of cannabis. He will co-host the podcast, which comes from DCP Entertainment, with cannabis advocate Tammy The Cannabis Cutie.

The series, which launches on October 5, will delve into all the layers of the multifaceted cannabis world, from the complicated history and misconceptions of cannabis and the plant’s influence and impact on culture, music, entertainment and more, to the latest trends, scientific breakthroughs, and political issues.

It will also feature reviews of selected products.

It marks the first podcast for Xzibit, best known for songs such as What U See Is What U Get and appearances in movies such as The Bad Lieutenant. He also founded cannabis brand Napalm and later became Creative Director of Buddies Brand.

Tammy, the Cannabis Cutie, otherwise known as Tammy Pettigrew is behind Cannabis Cutie Education, which delivers accessible, engaging, and informative cannabis education via online learning.

Guest include Jerry Krecicki, AKA “Jerry K,” owner of Quickies Wraps, and Elliot Lewis, CEO of Catalyst Farms.

“Cannabis has been a major part of my life, in my professional pursuits and my personal consumption. This series is a powerful platform to educate listeners and unpack the many misconceptions about cannabis, and also a way to share my personal journey into the cannabis industry,” said Xzibit. “I’m looking forward to bringing on some of my closest friends and experts to discuss how cannabis has shaped their lives, reflect on the industry’s progress, and enjoy some good laughs along the way.”
