XXXTentacion's Murder Suspect Asks Judge to Set Bond, Wants Out Of Jail

One of the men accused of murdering XXXTentacion believes he should be allowed out of jail on bond.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Trayvon Newsome’s lawyer is demanding the judge grant his client bond.

The documents were filed in Newsome’s criminal case, where he is charged with 1st degree murder and robbery with a firearm.

Newsome’s lawyer states, “Defendant is presently being denied bond. Defendant is entitled to bond as a matter or right, unless proof is evidence and the presumption of guilt is great.”

He believes Newsome is entitled to pre-trial release and is requesting a hearing be set. The judge has yet to rule.

Newsome was arrested by police on August 7, 2018. He has been behind bars ever since.

The other men charged for the murder were Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright and Robert Allen. XXXTentacion was murdered outside Riva Motorsports on June 18, 2018.

Boatwright recently accused police of violating his rights and demanded testimony he gave be dismissed.

His lawyer says Boatwright “maintained his absolute innocence but made a number of statements which the State may attempt to portray as incriminating at trial.” Boatwright takes issue with the police officer continuing questioning him despite his protests. He claims this is in violation of the United States Constitutions and wants the statements to be suppressed.

All the court drama comes as XXXTentacion’s mother posted a tribute to her son. She posted a photo writing, “I know you are watching over me from the shadows, until we meet again my son."

The estate recently teased an XXXTentacion documentary with a short trailer.
