XXXTentacion's girlfriend is pregnant with his child, family confirms

The girlfriend of late rapper XXXTentacion is pregnant.

Two days after the 20-year-old was fatally shot in Miami, his mother, Cleopatra Bernard, shared the news on Instagram with a sonogram image. "He left us a final gift," she captioned the photo.

The sonogram was conducted when his girlfriend was just over eight weeks along. She's reportedly now four months pregnant, expecting around mid-November.

The rapper knew about the pregnancy, TMZ reports. His family has not confirmed the girlfriend's identity.

XXXTentacion previously impregnated a former girlfriend in 2016, when he was arrested for allegedly brutally assaulting her on repeated occasions.

The rapper "beat her at times, choked her, broke clothes hangers on her legs, threatened to chop off her hair or cut out her tongue, pressed knives or scissors to her face, and held her head under water,” according to the Miami New Times. “He would fill a bathtub, dangle a microwave over the water, and threaten to let go.”

Other alleged incidents, which the victim said occurred every three to four days, included threatening to assault her with a BBQ fork or brush: “He told me to pick between the two, because he was going to put one of them up my vagina." His "favorite thing was to just backhand my mouth,” she said. “That always left welts inside my lips."

XXXTentacion, whose legal name was Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, died by gunshot wound on Monday. He was awaiting trial for the assaults at the time of his death.
