Who is Xhoana X? Meet Gavin Rossdale’s Gwen Stefani-doppelganger girlfriend

Gavin Rossdale has a type.

The British musician’s girlfriend, Xhoana X, bears a striking resemblance to his ex-wife, Gwen Stefani.

Their similarities were evident in Page Six‘s photos of Rossdale, 58, and Xhoana X, 35, packing on the PDA during their vacation to Mexico over the weekend.

Xhoana X — whose real name is Xhoana Xheneti — kissed Rossdale on the cheek and hugged him from behind while he sat in a chair looking at his phone.

The beauty, who has blonde hair like Stefani, 54, wore a small black bikini and tiny jean shorts. She also had on a black headband.

Rossdale and Xhoana X have been dating since 2023. They made their relationship Instagram-official in March 2024, when Rossdale — who has three children with Stefani — posted a photo of the couple out to dinner together.

The following month, they made their red carpet debut at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Xhoana X is a singer

Like Rossdale and Stefani, Xhoana X works in the music industry.

A “Metal Magazine” profile on Xhoana X described her as a “dark electro-pop artist.”

Her first album, “The Villain,” came out in 2021. She’s also released an EP, “Girlgun,” and various singles.

Xhoana X talked about how moving around has inspired her music in a 2021 interview with Celeb Mix.

“Musically I’ve been exposed to so much more than I would have been exposed to if I hadn’t moved around,” she said. “When I came here in ’96 there was Tupac, Biggie and No Doubt and then Prodigy and Radiohead so just massive nonstop inspiration which I’m massively grateful for. I think you hear it all in my music — the attitude, the rebellion, the nostalgia, the vulnerability, the eclecticism.”

Xhoana X was born in Albania

Xhoana X was born in Tirana, Albania. She grew up in a post-communist country before moving to the United States.

“I came to the States after my parents divorced,” she said in an interview with American Songwriter in 2021. “My mom won the green card lottery. So I came with my mom, [who was] a single mom and my sister. And basically, when I moved to the States, it was just such a major culture shock in every way possible.”

Xhoana X has met Rossdale’s kids

Rossdale has three sons with Stefani: Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10. He’s also dad to daughter Daisy, 35, with ex Pearl Lowe.

The Bush frontman confirmed his girlfriend met his and Stefani’s kids on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ podcast in March 2024. He said Xhoana X is “very sweet and very supportive” of him.

Rossdale and Stefani were married from 2002 to 2016.

In March, Rossdale said on the “Amy & T.J.” podcast that he doesn’t speak negatively about his ex-wife in front of their children, even though their split was “very contentious” and “hugely emotional.”

“Less said, soonest mended,” the rock star said. “I’m handcuffed because I would never want to overly say anything negative about their mom. That’s just not right.”
