'X-Men: Apocalypse' Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender & James McAvoy Play 'The Newlywed Game'
Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy have now made three X-Men movies together — but how well do they really know each other? At San Diego Comic-Con, Yahoo Movies put the X-Men: Apocalypse co-stars to the test with a variation on The Newlywed Game. To find out who takes the longest time in the make-up chair, who’s always forgetting their lines, and who hogs the buffet at craft services, watch the video above.
Our questions sparked some disagreement between the actors — particularly the first one, “Who’s the one who’s always late to set?” Fassbender and McAvoy both immediately point to Lawrence, who strenuously objects. “I am not! I am always the only actor who’s on time!” she insists — though we should note, she puts “on time” in air quotes.
Lawrence does cop to being the one who most often forgets her lines. “And not in an endearing, charming way either,” she says, with an endearing, charming laugh.
As for which X-Men actor devours the most food at lunchtime? Lawrence calls out Fassbender, telling her co-star, “You eat the most I’ve ever seen anyone eat, ever.” Guess those Magneto powers make a mutant hungry.
