Fans of the original X-men animated series were in for a treat this week when the all-new series, X-Men ‘97, landed in full force on Disney+. Serving up high doses of nostalgia, action, and, perhaps, memories of a simpler time, millennials will have a feast for their eyes (and ears) as Marvel unveils a new twist on the iconic Nineties band of mutants. The theme song alone is enough to have viewers experiencing flashbacks of their childhood sitting and watching ​​X-Men: The Animated Series on Saturday mornings from their kitchen tables. This 10-episode series follows the familiar collective of Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Jubilee, Jean Grey, Beast, Gamit as a continuation of the storylines that were originally developed in the 1992 show.
