Wynonna Judd thinks Post Malone is a “Rockstar.”

The country music star, 59, sung the praises of the singer/rapper, 28, in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight. Judd said that not only is she a huge fan of Posty's music, but she thought his live show was “one of the best” she’s ever seen.

“I love Post Malone,” the country legend raved. “In the car when you're going 75, what do you listen to? Post Malone."

“I saw his show. It's one of the best shows I've ever seen,” the CMA award winner admitted, lauding his “great” vocal performance and melodies. “I could not have loved his show more.”

Judd also spoke about what she admires about the “Better Now” artist’s character. “If you go see his shows, you know, it's real easy to judge the book by the cover and all this stuff that you hear. He's got the most tender heart, he's got a baby, he's in love, he's happy, he's pretty darn normal in a sense because he's very present," she said of the hip-hop star, who welcomed a daughter with his fiancée in May 2022.

"He's smart and he's just so creative,” the "She Is His Only Need" singer added.

Judd previously showed her support for the “Circles” singer after attending the Atlanta tour stop of his If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying tour, in support of his recent album Austin, in August. After the show, she posted to Instagram to share a handful of performance clips and photos from the night, including a sweet shot of her and fellow country star Brad Paisley hugging the performer.

“Posty x ATL📍,” she captioned the post.

Judd herself is back on the road. On Thursday, the singer-songwriter kicked off her special Back to Wy theater tour, which sees her primarily performing the iconic songs off her first two solo albums, 1992’s Wynonna and 1993’s Tell Me Why.

The tour comes several months after the country star wrapped up the final dates of The Judds: The Final Tour to honor the legacy of her mother and musical partner, who died at age 76 in April 2022.

The “No One Else on Earth” singer spoke to PEOPLE about the tour upon its announcement in August. She said, “Coming out of The Judds tribute tour, for me, it was time to get back to the intimacy again. It's years celebrating not only being in country music for 40 years, but me as a soloist — I have so much to celebrate."

The Grammy-nominated artist also spoke about how, although she felt like she had to prove herself when she debuted as a solo artist, she looks back on that time fondly. "Now I don't have that kind of pressure. I don't have that on myself. I just want to enjoy myself and enjoy it with the fans because they're my family,” she said. “Especially now that Mom is gone, I rely on the fans more than ever.”

The 15-date tour continues through the fall and will on Dec. 1 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
