Two weeks before what would have been iconic rock performer Tom Petty's 73rd birthday, a set of top-tier country performers are set to gather at Nashville's Brooklyn Bowl venue to not only honor his legacy but benefit Backline, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides mental health and wellness resources to the music industry and their family members.

Country Music Hall of Famer Wynonna Judd, multiple-time session musician of the year Derek Wells, Brittney Spencer, Charles Wesley Godwin, Ella Langley, Maggie Rose, Sierra Hull and Vince Herman will honor Petty at the event titled "Handle with Care."

"I asked a young girl in the audience the other night if she knew who Tom Petty was, and she said, 'No,'" Judd noted about her affinity for covering the "Refugee" vocalist's hits in a 2018 interview with Fort Smith, Arkansas' Southwest Times Record.

"It is so important that we honor the music that has been the backdrop to so many of our lives. We must not forget where we come from in music."

Also, Backline has announced its inaugural two-day Mental Health Day-related Harmony In Practice Clinical Training Workshops for mental health providers. Music industry professionals and licensed providers, including the following, will lead sessions:
