For years, the WWE Universe has been well aware of the struggles Carmella has faced with realizing her dream of becoming a mother – but we're happy to report the dream has finally come true!

Earlier this week, Carmella took to social media to announce the happy news: On November 8, she and her husband, Corey Graves, welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world! At eight pounds and 21 inches long, Dimitri Paul Polinsky is everything Carmella hoped he'd be. If Dimitri's parents are any indication, he will grow up to be quite the handsome young man!

Suitably, the couple's WWE family took to her Instagram's comment section to send their well-wishes. Alexa Bliss, Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley, Big E, and other WWE Superstars weren't shy about sending along their heartfelt congratulations. Even ex-WWE Superstars like Mandy Rose got in on the good vibes!

However, Bayley stood out to us by unabashedly declaring little Dimitri as her new best friend. "I LOVE YOU DIMITRI!!!!!" she professed in Carmella's comments. "I can't wait to meet my new best friend."

Lost in Carmella's birth announcement is the fact that she revealed her labor took an astonishing SIXTY hours! We gotta hand it to the Queen of Staten Island; we don't know how she managed to make it through two-and-a-half days of giving birth! (Props to Daddy as well, of course). We're sure we're not the only ones excited to hear more details about baby Dimitri — we're confident that will come in due time. After all, mommy and daddy deserve a break.

Carmella made headlines in 2022 and 2023 when she revealed she suffered not one but two miscarriages during her journey toward motherhood. "Getting that positive pregnancy test this third time around, I was cautiously optimistic," Carmella confessed to PEOPLE in August. "I was trying not to get too excited until I knew for sure everything was where it needed to be – and baby and I were healthy – so I'm very grateful for that."

It's been a long and challenging road for Carmella and Corey, but we're happy to report that their dreams came true after all their heartache and pain.

Will Carmella Compete in WWE Again?

Over the summer, Carmella reassured the WWE Universe that she fully intends to return to active competition.

"I for sure plan to come back," Carmella stated. "I think it's important to show you can have a baby and still have a career, especially a very physical one at that, but I'm not going to rush. I really just want to take my time recovering and making sure that I feel great and ready to go back – and not sort of rushing because I don't even know what to expect as far as how I'm going to feel after having a baby."

However, most of us underestimate the physical toll of pregnancy and giving birth to a child – let alone being in labor for 60 hours – so it remains to be seen if Carmella has the same return plans in mind that she did earlier in 2023. If she does make an official WWE return, it's safe to say the WWE Universe will be vocally behind her 100% – after all, Superstars like Becky Lynch have proven you can come back to WWE as a mother and be better than ever!

Has Carmella Ever Been a Champion in WWE?

Not only has Carmella captured championship gold in the WWE women's division, she's also the first female WWE Superstar to be crowned Ms. Money in the Bank – an accolade she captured in 2017, ultimately leading to this iconic cash-in moment:

Carmella is also a former women's tag team champion and held the now-defunct WWE 24/7 Championship – like any mom, we're sure she wouldn't mind competing for more titles and showing off in front of her son once he gets old enough!

You can tune in to Peacock to watch WWE's Survivor Series on November 25. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
