WWE Sunday Stunner Results From El Paso, Texas (4/16/23)

WWE main roster superstars were in El Paso, TX for a record-breaking live event over the weekend. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noted that the Sunday Stunner event was the highest-grossing WWE event in the history of the market.
WrestleTix reported earlier that at least 7,000 tickets were sold for the event and numerous $15 seats were made available which is nearly unheard of for a WWE event. You can see the results from the show below courtesy of Wrestling Bodyslam.
Cody Rhodes came out to the ring and announced that he is not medically cleared to compete. Imperium comes out to jump him but Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle even the odds. Cody declares that he will wrestle tonight regardless of being cleared.
Dominik Mysterio defeated Santos Escobar via feet on the ropes dirty pin.
Ricochet & Braun Strowman defeated The Viking Raiders
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The Miz
WWE United States Championship: Bobby Lashley defeated Austin Theory by DQ after Theory used a chair to end the match. Lashley did ultimately get the upper hand.
Piper Niven defeated Chelsea Green and Shotzi to earn the right to be added to the RAW Women’s Championship match tonight.
