WWE Star Nikki Bella Teases Coming Out of Retirement, Fans Send Support

Nikki Bella wanted to gauge fan reactions on a possible return to the ring, and even though it probably ain't gonna happen, everyone is still holding out for a miracle.

One half of The Bella twins took to Twitter Sunday morning and filmed a video while wearing a familiar outfit.

"I'm feeling like I need to come out of retirement," Nikki said while wearing her trademark Fearless crop top, paired with a backwards cap and a very tiny pair of booty shorts.

"Well, I wish ... we all know why I can't," Bella followed up, referencing her neck injuries and subsequent surgery that forced the WWE Superstar to hang up her belt earlier this year at the age of 35.

However, while she was dressed the part, Nikki admitted, "It feels really damn good to have this back on," adding that, "I'm feeling like me again ... it feels really good!"

The star did not reveal why exactly she was dressed up to get in the ring, although she did appear to take the video while in a gym.

Nikki said she was about to meet someone "super amazing," but did not let everyone in on the big secret.

Fans of the wrestler didn't take the move lightly, rejoicing in the news and singing her praise.

"Omg this is so exciting to see you in this attire miss you in ring Nikki!!" one woman wrote.

Another commented, "Omg slayyy I wish you could come back."

Lots of fans just posted GIFs of Nikki and her twin sister, Brie, kicking butt as Superstars for WWE.

Others didn't take the joke so well, letting Nikki know, "You got our hopes up ... We understand. How dare you tease us like that though. That’s cruel & unusual punishment."

Nikki's final match was November 2018 against Ronda Rousey.

Earlier this year, she explained the injuries that forced her into retirement.

During an appearence on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Nikki said:

I really wanted to go back and fight for the tag titles. I’ve always had my neck issues, and after neck surgery it hasn’t been OK. I needed to get that checkup before we went back for the tag titles."

“Then it came back that I herniated the disk above where I had surgery, I have all this inflammation around the metal, and then I have a cyst on my brain,” Bella said. “So they were like, ‘You’re done, no more, you’re out.'”
