WWE SmackDown Card Preview For Tonight, October 20, 2023

It will be one humdinger episode of the WWE SmackDown on Friday, October 20, with two massive fights lined up. After Logan Paul announced his return by challenging Rey Mysterio to a showdown, the two will square off in an electrifying encounter. At the other end, Charlotte Flair will take on Iyo Sky in another blockbuster skirmish.

Amid all of the backstage drama in the WWE, the programming thankfully, hasn’t taken a hit. And it’s worth noting that both the fights come with a fair share of history. This makes the upcoming episode of the SmackDown a lot more action-packed with revenge on the cards.

In another contest that’s part of the segment, Santo Escobar will also look for payback when he meets Montez Ford. The bout between the two is pretty much personal. With these three fights, expect tons of drama on Friday at 8/7c on Fox.

WWE SmackDown card includes Logan Paul vs Rey Mysterio & more

Logan Paul emerged victorious last Saturday with his boxing win over Dillon Danis and immediately shifted his focus to Rey Mysterio. He called out the iconic luchador saying he was coming for the title, and the latter didn’t shy away from the challenge.

As for Flair, she is getting a chance to take on Iyo Sky following her Money in the Bank cash-in at the SummerSlam. The latter has never defended her title alone, and that gives ‘The Queen’ an edge and a chance to set the record straight. Sky ended her Women’s Championship reign in 2020, and with that in mind, Flair will go for a knockout when she takes on Sky on Friday.

When Escobar takes on Ford, it will all be about revenge. Ford, Bobby Lashley, and Angelo Dawkins brutalized Carlito backstage after he joined Escobar and his LWO mates, and that will be on the former’s mind. Can he make Ford pay? Only time will tell.
