WWE RAW Viewership Rises 9% With 5/20 Episode, Demo Also Up

WWE King of the Ring semifinals led to an increase in RAW viewership.

According to Wrestlenomics, the May 20 episode of WWE RAW averaged 1.733 million viewers. This marks a 9% increase from last week. This marks RAW’s highest viewership since April 15. The show was up against Game 7 of the NHL playoff series between the Edmonton Oilers and the Vancouver Canucks (1.656 million viewers). The May 13 episode averaged 1.589 million viewers.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW averaged a 0.56 rating. This also marks RAW’s highest rating since April 15, and it is up from last week (0.53 rating). RAW ranked #2 in the key demographic on Monday. The Oilers-Canucks game topped it with a 0.58 rating. The Sun-Fever WNBA game averaged 1.556 million viewers and a 0.42 rating, per Wrestlenomics.

The May 20 episode of RAW featured semifinal matches in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. Gunther headlined the show against Jey Uso. Plus, Lyra Valkyria faced IYO SKY. Elsewhere on the show, The Awesome Truth defended the World Tag Team Championship against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
