WWE RAW Preview (4/29/24)

WWE RAW returns to the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO, for tonight’s episode. The red brand is set to host the second night of the 2024 WWE Draft. SmackDown hosted the first night of the WWE Draft. Fans can check out our complete coverage of the draft episode here.

WWE has already advertised several big names for the WWE Draft episode of RAW. Stars such as CM Punk and Becky Lynch are set to appear on the show. Punk didn’t appear live on SmackDown. He did pop up after the show went off the air. Fans can expect the Straight Edge Superstar to appear live on RAW tonight.

That being said, let’s take a look at what’s in store for WWE RAW this week.

Andrade, Jey Uso & Ricochet vs. The Judgment Day

Andrade and Ricochet picked up the win against JD McDonagh and Santos Escobar last week on WWE RAW. Damian Priest destroyed the babyfaces in a post-match assault. WWE announced a six-man tag team match featuring Andrade, Jey Uso, Ricochet, and The Judgment Day.

For those unaware, Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso at WWE Backlash this Saturday. Will Jey’s team stand victorious or will The Judgment send a clear message on the final WWE RAW before Backlash?

Logan Paul returns to WWE RAW

Logan Paul has continued to rack up wins after wins ever since he won the WWE United States Championship at Crown Jewel 2023. The Maverick retained his title against Kevin Owens at the 2024 Royal Rumble. He survived both Owens and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 40 Night 2.

Paul has been advertised for the draft edition of WWE RAW. It is unknown if the Maverick will work Backlash France this Saturday. Fans will have to wait till RAW goes live to know what the United States Champion has in store for them.

Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch

WWE were forced to crown a new Women’s World Champion following a shoulder injury to Rhea Ripley. Mami relinquished the title on the April 15, 2024, episode of RAW. Becky Lynch won the champion in a battle royal on the very next episode of RAW.

The Man will return to the red brand since winning the Women’s World Championship. Lynch has said she intends to hold onto the title so she can face Rhea Ripley. Will a new contender emerge to confront the new champion tonight on RAW?

Draft Night 2 continues on WWE RAW

The first night of draft concluded with for rounds on SmackDown. WWE Hall of Famers the Dudley Boyz, Teddy Long, Michelle McCool among others announced the picks on behalf of RAW and SmackDown. NXT superstars Carmelo Hayes and Kiana James moved to the main roster as well.

Who will switch brands on the second night of the 2024 WWE Draft? Will we see a massive superstar shakeup or will RAW and SmackDown retain big names like former Intercontinental Champion Gunther and CM Punk? Wrestlezone will have complete coverage of the April 29, 2024, episode of RAW as it airs.
