WWE NXT Preview (5/21/24)

It’s almost time for WWE NXT.

This week’s episode will feature a couple of Women’s North American Championship qualifying matches. Plus, we’ll learn who will challenge Oba Femi for the North American title.

Jaida Parker vs. Brinley Reece – NXT Women’s North American Championship qualifier

The qualifiers began last week on WWE NXT. Sol Ruca and Lash Legend both punched their ticket to the six-pack ladder match at NXT Battleground. Tonight, OTM’s Jaida Parker takes on Brinley Reece for the same opportunity.

Both women had come to blows during OTM’s tag team match against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade last week. Who will punch her ticket to the NXT Women’s North American title ladder match at Battleground?

Fallon Henley vs. Thea Hail – NXT Women’s North American Championship qualifier

Fallon Henley turned heel on Thea Hail at NXT Spring Breakin’ Week 2. Tonight, both women go one-on-one to determine who’ll be headed to the six-pack ladder match at NXT Battleground.

Can Thea stop Fallon this time around? We’ll find out on WWE NXT.

Natalya & Karmen Petrovic vs. Shayna Baszler & Lola Vice

Karmen Petrovic found herself in a Kirifuda Clutch during the NXT Women’s Underground match between Natalya and Lola Vice. The distraction allowed Miss Vice to pick up the win. Natalya and Karmen issued a challenge for a tag team match last week on NXT.

The four women are set to collide in tag team action tonight. Can Natalya and Karmen put an end to their feud with Shayna and Lola? Will the Queen of Spades and Miss Vice stand tall once again?

WWE NXT North American Title No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat match

Ivar, Josh Briggs and Wes Lee all wanted a shot at the NXT North American Championship. Wes Lee made his intentions known when he confronted Oba Femi three weeks ago on WWE NXT. Briggs and Ivar, on the other hand, have already lost their title matches to the champion.

All three men were attacked by a returning Gallus last week on NXT. WWE announced Joe Coffey as Ivar’s replacement due to injury. Tonight’s episode will see Coffey, Briggs and Lee collide to earn a title shot against Oba.
