WWE NIL Signee Hanna Cavinder Returning To College For Final Season Of Basketball

Hanna Cavinder is returning to basketball.

The Cavinder twins were signed by the WWE in 2021. This was part of the company’s new “Next In Line” (NIL) program. This initiative allowed college athletes to monetize their name and likeness, while also providing a pipeline for future WWE Superstars. Gable Steveson was part of this class, while Haley and Hanna Cavinder were looked at as the next Bella Twins.

However, it looks as though things will have to wait. Hanna Cavinder revealed that she is to return to college basketball for the upcoming season.

Hanna Cavinder wrote on Twitter;

“My last season of basketball was one of the most successful & challenging yrs of my life but it helped me grow immensely. The past few months I have been itching to get back to the game that I thought I lost the passion for. With that being said, I am returning for one more szn”

Hanna joined her sister Haley, who also announced her return to basketball for the 2024 season last year.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder Are ‘Deep In Conversation’ With The WWE

Despite their returns to Basketball this season, Haley and Hanna Cavinder are not done with the WWE.

Speaking with Colin Salao of TheStreet, The Cavinder Twins’ agent, Jeff Hoffman, revealed that the pair were still talking with WWE, having recently visited the WWE Performance Center.

“We’re still in deep and heavy conversations with WWE,” Hoffman said. “We were out the training facility a few months ago. We were discussing upcoming trainings.”
