WWE Awards Show Spoofs Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe Gaffe
Considered by some to be “the most prestigious award show on television,” the Slammy Awards were presented on WWE Monday Night Raw. The award ceremony was a little over three hours long and showcased several bouts in between the awards being doled out.

Only 24 hours after Steve Harvey crowned the wrong Miss Universe, a similar event unfolded during the Slammys. When Professional WWE wrestler Ron Rollins, also known as R-Truth, was presenting the award for "Diva of the Year” he accidentally announced Paige the winner. After an elated Paige confessed, "I didn’t have anything prepared, because I didn’t know I was gonna win a Slammy tonight!” R-Truth informed her of his mistake. Paige was actually the runner up and Nikki Bella was the real winner.
Unfortunately for R-Truth, Paige didn’t take the news very well and she began slapping him. Nikki Bella helped calm Paige down, and the show was able to proceed as planned.
