WRLD Explores Wavy Synths and Distant ‘Galaxies’ With Father Dude: Exclusive

Not to worry, that’s coming. The Dutch producer, better known as WRLD, just turned 18, and he’s on track to graduate soon. Who knows where he finds the time to finish homework, though he did find time to cook up a strong follow-up on to his Chase It and Awake EP successes on Skrillex‘s free-release imprint NEST.
“Galaxies” is a dreamy sing along, fleshed out with undulating synths and smooth vocals from New York’s Father Dude. It’s light and summery, at times almost cartoonish, and represents a growing experimentalism for the young artist.

“‘Galaxies’ is me exploring a more organic, beat-heavy style,” WRLD says, “while remaining my love for dreamy synths and warm sounds.”
WRLD promises to bring his shimmering pop-ready sound Stateside later this year, after he’s walked the stage and grabbed that degree, of course.
