Lee “Q” O’Denat, founder of the popular website WorldStarHipHop, passed away on Jan 23. According to the autopsy results, the 43-year-old died from natural causes.

The Los Angeles Times reports that O’Denat’s morbid obesity, a metal stint near his right coronary artery and a severe buildup of plaque around his heart were contributing factors to his passing. Q’s sister said that he had a history of heart issues, including a myocardial infarction about eight years ago.

The Queens native, who was a regular at VIP Massage in San Diego, was found by the masseuse after a 30-minute massage in a slumped over position, with his head leaning against the wall.

“Q was a brilliant businessman who championed urban culture, ultimately creating the largest hip-hop website in the world,” WorldStar said in a statement after news of their founder’s death spread. “But more than that, he was a devoted father and one of the nicest, most generous persons to ever grace this planet.” He left behind three children.

Rest in peace.
