Woody Harrelson Joins ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’
Woody Harrelson has joined the cast of Fox’s latest Apes pic War For The Planet Of The Apes. He will play a bad guy, we’ve confirmed, and the understanding is it’s one of the few human parts alongside Gabriel Chavarria, the young star of Universal’s upcoming Low Riders who has already come aboard as Deadline scooped last month. Matt Reeves returns to direct and Mark Bomback and the pic is shooting for an October start date in Vancouver. Harrelson is next up playing Lyndon Baines Johnson in Rob Reiner’s LBJ, the pic about his ascension into the presidency. THR reported Harrelson’s involvement first.
