Woody Harrelson has been 'literally laughing all day long' on Zombieland sequel shoot

Woody Harrelson took a break from shooting horror-comedy sequel Zombieland: Double Tap last weekend to publicize his upcoming Netflix film The Highwaymen at SXSW. Then again, maybe “took a break” isn’t the right phrase to use, given how much fun Harrelson claims he is having with fellow Zombieland franchise returnees Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and director Ruben Fleischer.

“What we’ve shot so far, I’m really impressed with,” Harrelson told EW. “Getting to hang out with these guys — Emma, and Abbie, and Jesse, and Ruben — I feel so lucky, really, really lucky. You know, it’s literally laughing all day long, and that’s your job. Like, my job is, I laugh all day long? It seems unbelievable. So, I feel really lucky right now.”

After Zombieland: Double Tap, Harrelson will likely appear in the film Fruit Loops and then will play Carnage in the sequel to Venom, a role teased at the end of last year’s original film. Could Harrelson reveal anything about that movie?

“No!” said the actor, with a laugh.

Zombieland: Double Tap opens Oct. 11. The Highwaymen premieres March 29 on Netflix.
