Got a hankering for chocolate? Here’s how to stream Wonka online from the comfort of your own home!
The Timothée Chalamet-led film — which topped the 2023 box office and to date has grossed $590 million globally — introduces audiences to a young Willy Wonka as he becomes the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker. The prequel is (loosely) based on the Roald Dahl novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was of course first adapted in 1971 as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (with the great Gene Wilder in the title role). It was later reimagined in 2005 as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with Johnny Depp taking on the role of Wonka.

Where to Watch Wonka Online Streaming: Max
Wonka will exclusively stream on Max starting Friday, March 8. So if you want to watch the film from the comfort of your own couch, you’ll have to sign up for the streamer. Max offers three subscription options: Max with ads for $9.99/month, Max without ads for $15.99/month and Max Ultimate ad-free for $19.99/month. The streamer can also be added to an existing Prime Video account for $9.99/month on top of the Prime Video membership fee.
