Who won the Christmas Cards to the Community program at Christmas in Roseland?

Every Christmas season the American Rose Center in Shreveport transforms its gardens into a whimsical winter wonderland.

Christmas in Roseland is celebrating 40 years this year.

This event features thousands of twinkling lights, dozens of lighted displays, giant Christmas Cards to the Community, nightly entertainment and photos with Santa.

On Thursday, Nov. 16, a select group of northwest Louisiana students and parents got to preview the winter wonderland following the announcement of the Christmas Card to the Community winners.

The Christmas Cards to the Community program was established 30 years ago and was created to highlight the talents of local students. According to the Rose Center, this program has become a cornerstone to Christmas in Roseland.

"We just really love doing this competition," said Claire Bissell, Executive Director of the American Rose Center. "We just love that that's something we're able to do and support our local community and it's something that our visitors to the Christmas in Roseland really love seeing when they come out as part of our event."
