New women's clothing store opening soon at Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville

A new women's clothing retailer is set to open soon at the Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville.

Windsor is scheduled to open in April. The store, which specializes in dresses, tops, shoes and other women's fashion, will be located next to Bath & Body Works, across from the food court.

Windsor, which opened in 1937 as a hosiery and lingerie store, has expanded to over 200 locations, including a store in the Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh.

"We continue to focus on providing the brands – local, regional, and national – that provide our shoppers with the most convenient shopping experience in the area," Cross Creek marketing director Jessica Kirkman said in a statement. "The addition of Windsor further rounds out our portfolio of retailers."

A grand opening event, which will feature special sales and giveaways, is forthcoming.

Cross Creek Mall opened in 1975 and has since grown to become a main shopping hub in Fayetteville, with more than 130 stores.
