A California woman celebrated her 60th birthday this year by having the quinceañera she never had as a teenager.

Livier Reynoso, of Oakley, wasn’t sure if she was going to make it to age 60 after doctors informed her that her diabetes could significantly impact her heath, according to Good Morning America.

So to celebrate reaching the major milestone, Reynoso took a traditional celebration — the quinceañera — and put her own spin on it.

Members of her family congregated at the Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Oakley, Reynoso’s home church, on Sept. 10 for a special mass before attending a fiesta at a local family ranch.

Reynoso told GMA in Spanish that her quinceañera “was incredible” and that “everything was just how I dreamed it would be” on the big day.

"For me, it was something grand to see my whole family reunited and happy and to see my friends,” she explained. “It was something bigger than I ever could have imagined.”

Reynoso wore a special The Princess and the Frog-themed gown for the occasion. Her dress resembled one of the iconic outfits worn by Tiana in the 2009 Disney film, while her court of damas (made up of female friends) dressed in other Disney princess gowns.

"When I saw The Princess and the Frog, I really liked the dresses and the first thing I said was that one day, I was going to make a dress like hers," she told GMA.

A video of Reynoso’s quinceañera has gone viral on TikTok in September, garnering nearly 155,000 likes in the last month.

The clip shows various portions of the party — including the mass at church, Reynoso’s dance with a “prince,” and other fun family moments.

Reynoso’s niece Suzette Reynoso-Bivens, who took the video, said watching her aunt celebrate the big day was "a great sight to see."

"It was just really a fun time ... seeing all my tías, [or aunts], getting dressed up as princesses,” Reynoso-Bivens told GMA. “It's not something you see every day.”
