Woman Who Used To Live In Homeless Encampment Shares How She Found Meaning For Her Life

Kelly says she spent years living on the streets of Los Angeles in homeless encampments. “It was real rough. I was scared all the time. I thought I was going to die out there,” she says. Now, Kelly says she’s been clean and sober for two-and-a-half years and is rebuilding her life. She says she believes the controversial homeless encampment bans enacted in cities across the United States help homeless people, including her.
