Kim Kardashian's Skims line isn't just a super trendy collection of clothing — it might also save your life!
According to a fan of Kim's clothing company, a Skims shapewear bodysuit did exactly that when she was shot earlier this year.
TikToker Angelina Wiley was shot four times in the early hours of New Year's Day after she was caught in the crossfire of a road rage incident while waiting at a food truck.
Angelina suffered a ruptured bladder and a cracked pelvis — but apparently, the Skims bodysuit she was wearing helped minimize her injuries.
"Kim Kardashian saved my life," she said on TikTok. "The night I got shot, under my dress, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit."
In another video, she noted that the way the bodysuit was sucking her in, it positioned her stomach in a way that the bullets hit a "fattier" part of her body.
Unfortunately, that night was the first time she'd ever worn the bodysuit, which had arrived in the mail just hours earlier.
After the video went viral, Kim recently got the chance to hear about the incident, posting a clip on her Instagram story with the caption, "wowww."
Angelina says Skims offered her a refund and a discount on a further purchase, but hopefully, now that Kim has seen the video, she'll get something a little more!
"Call it fate or call it Jesus but Imma call it Kim. Imma call it Kim for sure," Angelina concluded.
Hoping that Angelina continues to recover — and is covered by Skims for life!
