Woman Raises $14,000 For Black Female Photographers

Polly Irungu was disappointed by the lack of representation for Black women in photography. She decided to change that by creating Black Women Photographers, a resource that unifies Black women and helps them find work within the photography industry. She also raised more than $14,000 for a COVID-19 relief fund for Black female photographers. Pilot Pens loves what Polly is doing, so they awarded her $1,000 to keep uplifting Black women.
