Woman Goes Viral For Hitting Lil Kim’s Famous “Quiet Storm” Moves During News Report
A woman has gone viral after sharing her colorful eyewitness account.
According to an April 26 WTVY News 4 news report, Dothan, Ala. police responded to emergency calls reporting a shooting at a local apartment complex. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital after being treated at the scene for a gunshot wound to the chest.
A woman at the scene was able to speak to the news station about what she heard during the violent incident. Her brief, yet descriptive, statement resulted in a viral moment due to her spirited delivery.
“I’m getting to the car,” she remembered. “I hear…at least about 7 rounds,” the witness described, imitating the sound of gunfire.
“So I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking, doing Lil Kim, trying to get my baby in the car,” she continued, moving similar to the Brooklyn rapper’s signature dance.
“You can always count on Black folk to give a moment to the local news after a traumatic situation,” wrote one Instagram user on The Neighborhood Talk‘s repost of the news clip.
“Her mannerisms are hilarious,” added another follower of the platform.
“Oh she hit that lil Kim HARDER than Kim,” shared another user in the comment section.
An X user shared the news broadcast and exclaimed, “I love her!”

According to the report, the officers were able to stabilize the victim with a chest seal before he was transported to a professional medical facility. As of last Friday (April 26), he was reported to be in stable condition.
