Woman Defends Standing By Fiancé Convicted Of Abusing Her Daughter

In 2015, Brandon says his (then) 8-year-old daughter told him that her mother’s fiancé, Andrew, “had touched her in ‘bad places’ eight or nine different times.”

TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Accused of something terrible?

“The first thing that came to my mind was that he didn’t do this,” says Brandon’s ex-wife, Camma. She claims her daughter is lying. “People say kids don’t lie – but that’s bull. They lie all the time.”

Camma is accusing Brandon of manipulating their daughter into lying about the abuse, because – she says – he wants full custody of the child. Brandon firmly denies the allegation.

Andrew went to trial and was found guilty on charges of statutory rape. Why does Camma say she still stands by him? Tune in to Thursday’s Dr. Phil.
