Wolfgang Van Halen has found the one.

The Grammy-nominated artist and son of late Van Halen frontman Eddie Van Halen and actress Valerie Bertinelli tied the knot with his wife, Andraia Allsop, in an intimate ceremony on Oct. 15, 2023.

"Our goal was just to bring all of our closest family and friends together," Allsop told PEOPLE of her nuptials. "The past few years, not only with the world, but also with personal tragedies, haven't been the easiest, but we wanted to create this wedding as a celebration not only just for us to get married, but a celebration for the people we love."

The couple dated for exactly eight years before they wed — getting married on their first-date anniversary — and have been there for each other through challenging moments, such as the death of Van Halen’s dad in 2020.

Ahead of their ceremony, Van Halen and Allsop shared that they didn’t expect much in their relationship to change, other than Allsop’s last name, she joked. They planned on continuing to enjoy each other’s company in the quiet moments of their life, especially while Van Halen was home from touring.

"I think with our life and the way things are, the best thing, and our favorite thing to do, is to just be next to each other," he told PEOPLE. "Home is where we are together."

Allsop echoed the sentiment, adding, "And home could be anywhere. It could be a hotel room, it could be a bus or it could be our actual house. Home is just where the two of us are."

So who is Wolfgang Van Halen’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Andraia Allsop and her relationship with the musician.

Allsop graduated with a degree in computer science from the University of Utah in 2016, per her LinkedIn. She had an internship as a software engineer at Instructure in 2015, but hasn’t updated her account since. However, on her personal Instagram, she wrote in her bio that she works as a software engineer.

In her free time, Allsop is also a photographer and has a separate Instagram account for her work, which mainly consists of photos of Van Halen on tour with his band Mammoth WVH.

The couple shared that they initially connected over Instagram before exchanging numbers and talking regularly. "I have the screenshot on my phone of the very first text I ever sent her, where it was just like, 'Hey, it's Wolf. This is my number.' I remember where I was," Van Halen told PEOPLE.

"I was on tour in 2015. I woke up in Denver to a message back from her,” he recalled. “I remember exactly the hotel room I was in. It was on the last Van Halen tour. We were about to play Red Rocks and it was the day off before we played that I got my first text message from her and it was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ "

He added that for their first date, he planned a “whole little trip” in Los Angeles that started with food from his favorite sushi spot Aroha on Ventura and ended with the pair watching the sunset in Malibu.

"There were a crazy amount of shooting stars that night. I've never seen so many shooting stars in my life at one time," he said. "It felt like this is meant to be. It's cheesy to say, but definitely love at first sight."

"It was such a special night,” Allsop added.

Nearly seven years later, Van Halen popped the question in July 2022. He announced their engagement with an Instagram post of Allsop holding up her ring while caressing his face.

"She said yes!! ❤️❤️❤️," the rocker captioned the post.

Bertinelli also shared her excitement for the couple, commenting, “How do I ❤️ this a million times? So happy!!!!!!!🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍."

Van Halen and Allsop got married in their home so they could “have privacy and just have our moment together” in front of their 90 guests on Oct. 15, 2023. Van Halen wore a custom three-piece black suit while Allsop donned an Eva Lendel dress with sheer long sleeves, lace detail and a V-neck.

Van Halen walked down the aisle with his mom by his side to a song his father wrote for him. "The song that my father had written for me, it's an instrumental piece called 316. It'll be a nice way to include my dad," he told PEOPLE.

The couple made sure to include Van Halen’s father in other parts of the ceremony, including leaving an empty chair for him and adorning their living room with photos of their families.

"One of the things that I really wanted was a way to bring Wolf's dad into it," Allsop said. "We'll be having an empty chair that would've been his at the ceremony."

"We cleared out all the bookshelves and we've just lined the shelves with photos of our family, our loved ones, people who've passed, people who couldn't make it," she added.

Van Halen continued, "We've lost important family members on both sides, so it's important to include them and have them be a part of the ceremony that we wish they were here for."

Bertinelli couldn’t be happier about her son’s marriage to Allsop, who she said “really understands” Van Halen. She told PEOPLE that witnessing her son get married was a beautiful gift.

"It brings me such a nice sense of peace knowing Wolfie and Andraia have each other for the rest of their lives," she said. "They really ‘get’ one another. Their humor is very similar, they like similar things, they know how to give each other space and they’re just so comfortable together."

She also added that Eddie would have been thrilled to see his son walk down the aisle, and she even lent Allsop a necklace that her ex-husband had given her for the special day.

"Ed would’ve been absolutely beaming and so, so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming and so happy that he has found Andraia, someone who really understands Wolfie, who he is and who he wants to be and supports him wholeheartedly," Bertinelli said.

Bertinelli and Allsop also came together to support Van Halen when they attended the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in April 2022 as his guests when he was nominated.

She is family-oriented

In addition to honoring Van Halen’s family, Allsop also is close to her own relatives. She shared that during her wedding, her father walked her down the aisle and her grandmothers were her flower girls.

"Back in March, my grandfather passed away, but when he and my grandma got married early 1990s, I was about 3, and so I was their flower girl," she told PEOPLE. "So I thought it would be fitting and just a nice little moment to have my mom's mom and my dad's mom be our flower girls."
