"Our goal was just to bring all of our closest family and friends together," says Andraia. "The past few years, not only with the world, but also with personal tragedies, haven't been the easiest, but we wanted to create this wedding as a celebration not only just for us to get married, but a celebration for the people we love."

The ceremony took place inside the couple's living room, a space where they could "have privacy and just have our moment together with everyone," says Andraia. The reception followed outside in the backyard with string lights and florals.

One of Wolfgang's closest family friends, whom the 32-year-old says he's known for "almost three decades at this point," officiated the wedding. "He's the dad of one of my best men and he's just an important guy in our life," Wolfgang says.

The ceremony was decorated with a display of stunning stained-glass windows — the same backdrop that Lady Gaga used in one of her performances, as well as dusty rose and mauve-colored flowers.

The Mammoth WVH frontman, who wore a custom three-piece black suit for the event, walked down the aisle with his mom to a song that his father Eddie, who died from throat cancer at age 65, wrote for him. "The song that my father had written for me, it's an instrumental piece called 316. It'll be a nice way to include my dad," he says.

Bertinelli says seeing her son get married is a beautiful gift. "It brings me such a nice sense of peace knowing Wolfie and Andraia have each other for the rest of their lives," she tells PEOPLE. "They really ‘get’ one another. Their humor is very similar, they like similar things, they know how to give each other space and they’re just so comfortable together."

Andraia walked down the aisle with her father to Dean Martin's "Everybody Loves Somebody." "Dean Martin is one of my favorite performers, and I was like, 'Oh, that's a perfect song. I need a Dean Martin song,' " she tells PEOPLE of her choice.

She also made the unique decision to have her grandmothers as the flower girls. "Back in March, my grandfather passed away, but when he and my grandma got married early 1990s, I was about 3, and so I was their flower girl," she shares. "So I thought it would be fitting and just a nice little moment to have my mom's mom and my dad's mom be our flower girls."

Andraia wore an Eva Lendel dress that featured sheer long sleeves with lace detail and a V-neck. "My goal was just to be able to be comfortable throughout the whole day and the whole night," she shares. "It's a long dress, not a big train, but hits the floor with lace and some beading detail."

The couple wrote their own vows and also made sure to honor their loved ones who weren't able to be with them on their special day.

"One of the things that I really wanted was a way to bring Wolf's dad into it," says Andraia. "We'll be having an empty chair that would've been his at the ceremony."

"We cleared out all the bookshelves and we've just lined the shelves with photos of our family, our loved ones, people who've passed, people who couldn't make it," she adds, as Wolfgang shares, "We've lost important family members on both sides, so it's important to include them and have them be a part of the ceremony that we wish they were here for."

Andraia also shares that she hand made "little memory charms with a picture of Wolfie and his dad on it" as a surprise for everyone with boutonnieres, corsages or bouquets so that everyone is able to "think of him throughout the day."

Bertinelli also lent her a necklace to wear that Eddie had given to her.

"Ed would’ve been absolutely beaming and so, so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming and so happy that he has found Andraia, someone who really understands Wolfie, who he is and who he wants to be and supports him wholeheartedly," says Bertinelli.

Following the ceremony and a cocktail hour inside, guests then moved outdoors for the reception, dinner and dancing.

The couple's menu included "hints of Italian," such as Tortellini en Brodo — a tortellini soup Wolfgang says his mom "grew up having all the time" that her grandmother would make — braised short rib, pesto chicken and cauliflower steaks as the vegan option.

The dessert consisted of tiramisu and a wedding cake from SusieCakes — which the couple says was a non-negotiable.

"We knew we wanted a cake from SusieCakes because that's the best bakery in California, and I think that was the first thing we were like, 'We're going to need to do that because it's the best.'"

"They have this cake called the celebration cake, which is just stupid how good it is," the musician continues, as Allsop notes it's a "buttercream vanilla frosting with a vanilla cake inside."

The couple opted for a DJ at the reception, as Wolfgang says they just wanted to "keep it simple."

"I think people's first impression is like, 'Oh, are you going to play something?' And it's like, no, that's the last thing I want to do. I'm going on tour in 11 days. I don't want to," he admits. "Last thing I want to think about is playing anything."

Wolfgang joked that some of the songs on their wedding playlist might be unexpected.

"I'm sure our DJ is going to look at some some of these songs and be like, 'What?' he says, as Andraia notes, "When I talked to our DJ, he was very excited about our vision. The one thing that I want, I want Wolfie to have his moment of one of his favorite bands, Meshuggah."

Wolfgang explains: They're very progressive metal, I think to anybody, to the non-informed crowd though, it would probably just sound like death metal. Anyone over 40 will be terrified. But you know what? It's my wedding and I'll do whatever I want."

While the couple was excited about their nuptials, they both noted that they felt like they were already married.

"It's kind of just a formality," Wolfgang says. "We are so already married that it's like, well, yeah, might as well make it official, because we already are.  It's just going to be really fun to throw a party with everybody in our lives that we love and is able to make it. And it will be cool. Most people ever that we've ever had at the house."

The pair first connected on Instagram before exchanging phone numbers and began talking regularly. "I have the screenshot on my phone of the very first text I ever sent her, where it was just like, 'Hey, it's Wolf. This is my number.' I remember where I was," he recalls.

"I was on tour in 2015. I woke up in Denver to a message back from her. I remember exactly the hotel room I was in. It was on the last Van Halen tour. We were about to play Red Rocks and it was the day off before we played that I got my first text message from her and it was like, Oh my gosh."

On the pair's first date, Wolfgang planned a "whole little trip for the day" starting with sushi at his favorite spot Iroha on Ventura, before they watched the sunset together in Malibu.

"There were a crazy amount of shooting stars that night. I've never seen so many shooting stars in my life at one time," he recalls. "It felt like this is meant to be. It's cheesy to say, but definitely love at first sight." Adds Andraia: "It's was such a special night." Wolfgang popped the question in July, 2022.

As the pair embarks on newlywed life, they don't expect much of a shift in their relationship. "Kind of the only thing that's going to change is my last name. That's about it," Andraia adds.

With Wolfgang's busy touring schedule, the pair enjoy the quiet moments they get to spend together.

"I think with our life and the way things are, the best thing, and our favorite thing to do, is to just be next to each other," he says. "Home is where we are together." Andraia couldn't agree more: "And home could be anywhere. It could be a hotel room, it could be a bus or it could be our actual house. Home is just where the two of us are."

As they reflect on their wedding, Wolfgang tells PEOPLE he describes the special day as "comfy."

"Just being able to share our love for each other with the people that we love and it just makes you feel comfy," he says. "It's like drinking water for the soul."
