Wolf Pack Cancelled at Paramount+

Sarah Michelle Gellar is turning in her badge: Paramount+ has canceled Wolf Pack after one season, TVLine has learned.

Last summer’s dual Hollywood strikes were the final nail in Wolf Pack‘s coffin. According to sources, a potential second season would not have been ready for nearly two years after the conclusion of Season 1.

Based on Edo van Belkom’s 2004 novel, Wolf Pack followed the aftermath of a California wildfire responsible for awakening a dangerous predator. That beast was eventually revealed to be the long-lost brother of the very twins he’d been targeting all season, with their mother also turning out to be someone other than whom she appeared.

The show starred Armani Jackson as Everett Lang, Bella Shepard as Blake Navarro, Chloe Rose Robertson as Luna Briggs, Tyler Lawrence Gray as Harlan Briggs, Rodrigo Santoro as Garrett Briggs and Gellar as Kristin Ramsey.

Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis served as Wolf Pack‘s showrunner, executive-producing alongside Gellar, Joseph P. Genier, Karen Gorodetzky, Christian Taylor, Mike Elliott, Jason Ensler and Sean Crouch.

Although Wolf Pack was not a spinoff of Teen Wolf, several cast members from the MTV series made appearances in new roles, including Gideon Emery (formerly Deucalion) as Malcom and Rio Mangini (formerly Alex) as Austin.
