WME Signs Reality Producer Matt Kunitz

Seasoned reality producer Matt Kunitz, creator of the long-running ABC series Wipeout, has signed with WME. The move follows the recent departure of Kunitz’s long-time agent, Greg Lipstone, from ICM Partners.

In addition to creating and executive producing Wipeout, which ran on ABC for seven seasons and has had local versions produced in 40 other countries, Kunitz also served as executive producer for all seven seasons of Fear Factor, the first reality competition series to go into syndication.

Kunitz first gained prominence as a producer on MTV’s groundbreaking docu reality series The Real World, where he rose to showrunner during his five-season tenure.

He is currently under a multi-year overall deal with Lionsgate TV, where he is developing and producing unscripted programming through his Pulse Creative banner.

Kunitz continues to be repped by attorney David Tenzer.
